He has played over 300 career games in the NHL for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota Wild, Anaheim Ducks, and San Jose Sharks. Rowney has been a consistent contributor throughout his career, providing both offense and defense.
In the 2021-22 season, Rowney played for the Anaheim Ducks, registering 15 points (5 goals, 10 assists) in 61 games. He is known for his physicality, penalty killing abilities, and versatility.
